Tree Thank You

September is always is always a busy month for us at the Funeral Home, as it is the month we hold two of our tree planting services. CM Wilson/Skakel Conservation area is the Sunday after labour day and the T.R.E.E.S. park in Ridgetown is the following Sunday. Special thanks again to all of you who assisted in making these tree services possible – particularly celebrants Rev. Al McIntyre and Dan Ouimette, pipers Walter Tomaszewski and Ken Poole, the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority and Foundation, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent as well as our staff, my family and the numerous volunteers that make these events possible.

He who plants a tree,

He plants love,

Tents of coolness spreading out above

shading Wayfarers he may not live to see.

Gifts that grow are best;

Hands that bless are blessed:

PLANT! Life does the rest!

-Lucy Lancom
