Obituary of Diane Richards

RICHARDS, Diane A resident of Chatham, Diane Richards, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the age of 67. Born in Chatham, daughter of Anna Dierckens of Tilbury and the late Valere Dierckens (1990). Cherished mother to Kim (nee Richards) & Chris Shaw, Steven Richards, and Shaun Richards. Loving grandmother to Sydney, Addison, Ethan, Blake, and the late Madison (1995). Survived by siblings Joyce (Pete) Hensel, Connie Franklin and her husband the late Steve Franklin, Bonnie Vickery and her husband the late Allan Vickery, Fran (Ray) Pease, and Kevin (Sharron) Dierckens. Forever missed by several nieces and nephews. Diane enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and travelling. Special thanks to the nursing staff on 4th Floor Medicine C at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 6:45 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Matt Kucharski as celebrant. Interment in Erie Cemetery, Wheatley.
