BANKS, Lawrence George, a resident of Charing Cross, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2014 at his residence at the age of 82. Dear son of the late Edward & Irene Banks (McQueen). Beloved husband to Frances (Nee Kocis) for 57 years. Loving father of Brian Banks, of Charing Cross, Pamela (Greg) Fayarchuk, of Burlington, Heather Banks, of London, Virginia Banks, of Chatham and Grant (Donna) Banks, of London. Cherished grandfather to Lauren, Megan & Olivia Fayarchuk and Claire & Michael Banks. Dear brother to Ted (Dorothy) Banks, of Blenheim, Betty McMath, of Chatham and Carol Banks-Malough, of Mexico. Lawrence is survived by several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Lawrence’s wishes, cremation has taken place, with a private family gathering to follow.
