Obituary of Jantina Hoek

HOEK: Jantina A resident of Chatham, Jantina Hoek, died peacefully, surrounded by her family at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday September 27, 2014. She was born in The Netherlands, 95 years ago, on October 1, 1918, daughter of the late William & Fokje Wildeboer. Beloved wife of the late Nick Hoek, who predeceased her in 2010. Loving mother of Lena Sikkema (late Jelte) of Chatham, Gus & Gerda Hoek of London, Tina & Dick DeKievit of Chatham, William Hoek (late Elsie) of Huntsville, Ineke & Adrian Goossen of Chatham, and Annie Hough (late Doug), also of Chatham. She will be lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Jantina is survived by her brother Hindrikus Wildeboer in Holland, and sister-in-law Jean Wildeboer of London. Family will gather for a private service on Tuesday September 30, 2014.
