Obituary of Betty Daymond
A resident of Chatham, Elizabeth (Betty) Daymond passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the age of 88.
She was the daughter of the late Alfred & Edna (nee Vince) Farquharson.
Betty will be remembered by her daughters, Kathy Daymond & Heather Rodrigues (Victor).
Predeceased by her infant children, Kevin Charles (1963) & Donna Jean (1960)
Grandmother of Nikolai (Deirdre) & Chantelle.
Sister of Raymond Farquharson (Cherie).
Predeceased by brothers, Robert Farquharson, John Farquharson (the late Alice), & Reginald Farquharson.
Survived by sister-in-laws, Evelyn Farquharson, & Mary-Jane Farquharson.
She will be fondly remembered by a large extended family.
Betty enjoyed spending her time knitting and weaving, exercising her creative talents and sharing her creations with the community. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Friends to be received on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 1:30 pm until a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm to Celebrate Betty's life. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent.
